A three-masted clipper ship fights the high winds and rough waters at sea during a voyage. Signed by HERBERT. Overall nice condition for the painting's vintage age. The colors remain vibrant and the painting itself only has a few spots of blemishes and/or minor chips. The artist signature is legible and found in the lower right hand corner. Quite a bit of detail can be found throughout the artwork. A tan fabric matting separates the artwork and frame. A wall hang accessory is attached on the back for help with display upon arrival. The wooden frame is sturdy and intact with some minor chips and blemishes. The paper covering on the backside is torn, marred and shows signs of water spots in some areas. A beautiful piece of original artwork that will make for a great addition to any collection or setting.
