Vintage German Wooded Landscape Oil

Up for sale is a beautiful vintage German wooded landscape oil painting signed in the low right corner by "L. Konig". Painted in a heavy impasto style the texturing of the painting seen in the trees and ground is thick and attracting almost calling out to be touched. Executed in oil on canvas this attractive painting measures 20 x 27.75 inches and comes unframed. The backside of the canvas shows a large stamp. The condition of the painting while good shows a line of paint along the bottom that was pulled from from a previous frame, this of course would be covered by adding any other frame.
