Perkins & House Non Explosive Safety Lamp 1870s Cast Iron & Nickel Antique I think the font is mickle plated brass. last patent date is 1871 4 3/4" diameter at base. 11" tall to top of burner. 13" tall to top of socket Used. As Is Condition. Lamp has been electrified. Electric socket was put through original burner I don't know if you can restore it. General wear, some small dents & rust spots to be cleaned If you want to use lamp as electric, you must replace the cord. Please look at the 15 photos carefully
