This is an old Hanging Lamp 5&7/8 inch polished Brass fancy Cutout and Fleur-de-Lis pattern evener spreader band, hangs under the pulldown retractor on your lamp, circa 1880s Measures 1&7/8 inches tall and 5&7/8 inches wide. A great piece to use as found or to use for parts to help you complete your lamp project.
