Victorian Duplex Oil Lamp Stand/Shade/Brass Jadite Milkglass (?)Font Electrified. Made in England.
This antique lamp has a ceramic black base, then brass from bottom to top. It took a LOT of cleaning and polishing with Brasso, to get it to look like it does now. Still could use more. There are some issues. The brass on top of base is split in two places. There is a small crack in the green jadite milk glass. Please see all pics. It is electrified but is attached inside and along the outside of lamp. It’s held in place with small wires. It works just fine. Has a small bulb in it but is a standard size screw in base. The clear globe with cut design is resting on the brass ring and supported by the two wick advancers and lever. It’s a tight fit so won’t fall off. The globe is closed so there is no chimney.
Lamp is old so some problems are expected.
It’s about 22 3/4" tall and 6 1/4" wide.
