Up for sale is the rarely seen Diana miniature oil lamp as pictured in Smith's Book 1 on page 122 figure number 250. "Milk glass with embossed design; painted in delicate blue, pink, and gold somewhat worn off; Nutmeg burner; 7-3/4 inches high,. Called "Diana" in Dodd, Werner, & Co. catalog for 1896-97 at $8.00 per dozen or 80 cents each". This is a very nice complete version of this lamp in milk glass. The tripod has been replaced with a reproduction one. The burner wheel is marked "Pat FEBY 27 1877". The openings on the shade show the common roughness from the factory and there is a crack on one side of the shade that goes top to bottom. I have not attempted to stabilize it in any way. Look the photos over carefully and be sure to ask any questions if you have some.
