This Viton Rubber O-Ring is a much higher quality Rubber than the OEM original and also their UPDATED O-Ring, which are both failure prone to leaking oil on top of your valve cover. If you are smelling oil and discovered a small puddle of oil on the front of the valve cover, this is most likely the cause. Our O-Ring is installed in place of the factory part for a much better seal. Installation is with basic hand tools and should only take 10-15 minutes.
