This Victorian female portrait shows a fair skinned woman with flowers decorating her hair and a stunning large carved cameo hanging at her neck. Executed on canvas measuring 23 x 19 inches the period gold wood frame measures 29 x 25 inches making this painting ready to be hung and enjoyed! While the work lacks a signature the painting is well executed and highly attractive. The painting shows significant repair as seen verso and in painting but still looks great and displays wonderfully.
