Robert Lebron Listed Artist Mid Century NYC Shows Start of 1st Tower Of WTC. This painting is from Robert Lebron’s palette knife period. The scene is lower Manhattan and the very tall building on the far right is most likely the first tower of the World Trade Center. You can see that the upper portion is under construction. This places the painting in the early 1960s. This is an oil on canvas painting and measures 29.5” by 14.5”. The frame measures 36” by 21”. The painting is in very good condition but the frame has issues. The fabric covered areas of the frame show some stains and watermarks. The gold color plastic edges have shrunk due to age so they don’t meet at the corners anymore. Sold as is but look carefully at all pictures and ask any questions you may have.
