Coleman Air-O-Lite Electrified Lamp Beautiful hard-to-find Coleman Kerosene Lamp Air-O-Lite, Model P May 13, 1919 patent date From a large antique lighting collection in Michigan, USA - see/watch our store for more This rare piece has been electrified at some point in its history and is working well. A ceiling canopy was added for hanging as a chandelier. Because of the flat base under the font, you can also use it sitting on a table. You could remove the ceiling canopy and add a longer wire and switch and plug if you prefer to use it that way. Coleman shades included with no chips or cracks - one seems slightly lighter in color than the other - they must have been from different glass runs. Most of the nickel finish has worn away on the font, with the brass showing through. The font has light scratches and rubs and a few teen tiny dings, but no large dents or gouges. The shade holders have a nickel colored painted finish, and the arms look like they might have this finish as well, as does the underside of the base.
