OLD Oiler OIL CAN dated 1944 Emergency Artillery Maintenance Tool WW2 New Stock A vintage oil can with a generous coating of sticky cosmolene . IT IS SMEARED WITH STICKY COSMOLENE AND NEEDS CLEANED. COSMOLENE prevented rust. Great to put with your WW2 display or 1944 vintage vehicle. There is a bomb with wings stamped in red on the tag. A vintage May 24 1944 oiler oil can. It is in good unused condition. The oiler is 1/3 pt size. See the photo’s to see what the label tag says . Overall, it is in good condition with no rust I can see on the top or spout. The copper coating has some tarnish where it is exposed. The can does not have any vintage oil in it. The oiler can is 5 1/2 ” tall and 3 1/2 ” across the base.
