Comes with the resistor  installed. When installing use the P as a reference to install correctly . Sierra , Yukon  , oil pressure gauge motor . Comes with resistor installed . 1995-1999 old body Chevy Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban,  GMC Sierra & Yukon. Tech note: Most common issues with and old motor is lack of resistance which is common with a twitchy or loose needle .Buying and installing   A re oiled motor  isn’t a fix all if your having  gauge problems , it could be other issues such as oil pressure sensor , bad grounds , etc .
