Octavo (19.5cm); maroon cloth, with titling/front and rear covers as well as the spine stamped in yellow, yellow top stain as called for a first edition/first printing. A novel "largely concerned with the social education and disillusionment of the son of an oil tycoon made into a highly rated TV series. Book is in Very Good-/Very Good shape, with bumped upper right front cover corner, small stain to the ffep/front paste down "not affecting the interior", (I took pics of the pages on the inside) and the top of some pages crinkled from the front corner being bumped. Hinges are solid inside and out and binding is tight with all pages fanning easily. A great addition to any first edition library and a great gift idea/investment with Christmas just around the corner!
