I am finally beginning to sell my art collection (which has had an emphasis on pin-ups, risque and nudes). It has been carefully acquired over the past 50 years! As a retired senior it is time to downsize a bit.
This is an original oil or acrylic painting of a pretty woman ( she reminds me Audrey Hepburn). A bit risque and from the pin-up genre. I can't make out the name of the talented artist entirely but it is signed Grim??? The artist appears to have named the painting "Dreamer" and noted the year as 2017 on the back. The artist name is also written on the back with some other cryptic clues but I just can't make it out! If you know this artist, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know who it is.
This whimsical painting measures 24" x 18" on an unframed canvas with a reinforced stretcher. The condition is excellent and I do not see any paint loss. It is a very colorful interpretation that, as I previously mentioned, has telltale hallmarks of Audrey Hepburn!
As usual, this painting is much more vivid and distinctive in person versus the photographs!
