An
abstract oil on board painting, done in vivid red and baby blue, in
what appears to be an angel in the center of the painting. It is signed
lower right Hazel Feltman and it is stamped on the reverse "Estate of
HAZEL FELTMAN." It is in a gold and
cream colored frame. The painting is in very good condition, with wear
consistent with its age and use. Please see the photos for details
and condition, as they are part of the description. One of several paintings by Feltman from this
collection. Hazel Feltman (1916-1980) was a
Berks County native who overcame great adversity to pursue her passion for art.
She suffered from poly-arthritis, which confined her to a wheelchair from the
age of fourteen. At 27 she found some relief from a new medication which
enabled her to pursue her life-long dream of becoming a painter. (Reading
