Mid Century 30s40s Impressionism Minimalism Oil

Mid century 30s/40s original vintage landscape oil pastel. Depicts an eye catching country landscape scene complete with a river and waterfall running through a lush forest; purple mountains can be seen in the distance. Medium is pastels on paper done in an Impressionist/Minimalist style. Signed by the artist H.E. Mouton in the bottom left corner. Protected behind glass, matted and framed in its original dark chocolate tone beveled wood frame and ready to hang.
In Good overall condition. Exhibits gentle pastel rubbing. No holes, rips or tears. Frame shows gentle scuffing and wear. Displays handsomely.
Measures 14” x 11” and 20” x 17” with the frame.
