DURING 1890-1895 (FOR REFERENCE SEE "OIL LAMPS 3" BY C. THURO, PAGE # 241). THE COMPANY MANUFACTURED FANCY GOODS PLATED IN GOLD, OXIDIZED SILVER AND BRASS. THEY MADE THE MOST ARTISTIC BRASS, BRONZE ARTICLES AND LAMPS OF THEIR TIME. ALL THEIR LAMPS AND OTHER ITEMS ARE NOW CONSIDERED TH E RAREST IN AMERICAN ANTIQUE LIGHTING TRADE. THIS LAMP IS IN A VERY GOOD CONDITION. THE ME TAL PARTS ARE ORIGINAL AND AUTHENTIC. THE MIX METAL BASE IS PROFESSIONALLY POLISHED AND SEALED FOR PRESERVATION. IT IS VERY WELL ELECTRIFIED WITH NO DAMAGE DONE TO THE LAMP AND IF DESIRED CAN BE BROUGHT BACK TO KEROSENE BURNING WITH VERY LITTLE EFFORT. THE GLASS GLOBE HAS NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS WITH JUST A VERY MINOR WEAR TO GILDING, RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL HEAT RING.  THE CHIMNEY IS OLD AND SIGNED "MACBETH # 9  PEARL GLASS". THE LAMP IS VERY TALL - 37" TO THE TOP OF THE CHIMNEY. THE BASE IS 7 1/2" AT THE LOWER WIDEST PART, THE GLOBE IS 9" IN DIAMETER. The flower on the globe looks like iris.
