Galle Winston Kofi Dawson was a Ghanaian Postwar Contemporary artist. His work has been offered at auction multiple times. He was a painter, sculptor and very experimental artist within the art realm. He coined the term Afro-Journalism to describe his socially-committed art practice. His last exhibit was in 2019. I received this painting in Houston, Texas. It is framed without glass. The frame has that 80’s style and you might want to update it. For a 1980 oil , the colors are still stunningly vivid. This would be a fantastic addition to a collection.
Note: there are a few scratches on painting but considering the age, I believe it is in great condition. Thank you for your interest.
