Damian Gomes Oil

Offered here is a small brightly colored oil painting by Damian Gomes. The painting itself is in excellent condition, and the frame is in very good or better condition. The painting, in Gomes’ “abstract figurative” style, is of two figures, one standing and talking to or “consulting” with a seated winged angel. Information accompanying the painting when we acquired it indicated it was referred to as the “Consultation.” Done in 2018 on reinforced board, the painting is signed and dated on the back by Gomes. The painting measures 9 by 11 ¾ inches and the frame measures approximately 11 ½ by 14 ½ inches. Please review the accompanying photographs carefully as they are the most important part of the description. This little painting by Damian Gomes is one of a number of paintings, prints and drawings we acquired from the estate of Bill Bishop, long time art and antique dealer, who operated shops in Scottsdale, Arizona and Allenspark, Colorado.
