COW TRAIL, is an original oil painting of the hills in Eastern Montana where a cow trail leads to higher ground, by Ty Livingston. It is painted on an acid free canvas panel. I am a self-taught artist. Living in Eastern Montana I have learned there is real beauty in the wide-open spaces making them a favorite subject in my paintings. My style of painting is Impressionism. I try to push color as much as I can. I use thick strokes of paint to give the painting a rich texture. All of my paintings are similar in style and subject so they look good together in small groups but strong enough on their own to offer an accent to any area.
