Circa 1900 white opaque milk glass 'Reclining Elephant' embossed patterned kerosene oil miniature lamp. Fully functional petite sized kerosene oil lamp. Delightful full figural elephant! White opaque milk glass, embossed patterned as a reclining elephant with a blanket, with a great deal of the original gold gilt highlights intact. Rarely seen faint embossed signed in the glass under the lamp 'PATENTED'. Original fancy brass P&A Acorn burner (two promgs missing) with original period chimney. Approximately 3" tall to the top of the collar and 5" long. Undamaged with no chips cracks or breaks. Lovely period Victorian fully functional kerosene oil figural miniature lamp to add to your collection.
