BRAND NEW PART # 40-0406 Fits: FL 1965-1984 FX 1971-1984 Our electric start smooth oil tank features side fill with top fittings but can only be used with Hitachi type starter motors. Tank will install on stock FX or FL Swingarm frames and houses the stock FXE 12 volt battery, sold separately. This oil tank allows removal of battery without removing the tank from the frame. *NOTE: The battery well is 5-1/2" deep, measuring 7-1/4" x 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". The thread size of the drain plug and feed is 3/8"-24.
