Item Information This listing is for a Heavy Duty Deep Transmission Pan with 3.5 quarts Extra Capacity for the C5 Corvette 4L60E Transmissions with 16 bolt pan. This pan is designed specifically for C5 Corvette owners who push their Corvettes to the limit and for owners who just want to take care of their Corvettes. This pan allows for adding transmission fluid through the pan as required by 4L60 transmission in the C5 Corvette. It is designed to fit 1997 to 2004 C5 Corvettes with the GM 4 speed automatic transmission, but please check your Corvette as configurations can vary. The drain hole and magnetic drain plug allow for easy transmission servicing to keep your Corvette running smoothly. A magnetic drain plug, fill plug and all new mounting bolts are included with the pan. This pan has been designed for: + Cooling - extra capacity(3.5 quarts above stock), fins, and aluminum construction for reported temperature drops of 10 to 35 degrees + Clearance - medium height maintains clearance + Drain Plug - on the side for safety + Secure Seal - machined flat gasket flange for a leak free seal + Strength - high quality cast aluminum, thick walls to add strength to the transmission housing + Fins on bottom of pan for additional clearance + Designed to work with the stock filter and gasket, the pan has cast-in filter supports so no filter extension is needed. Also shown are filter supports, the drain hole and the fill hole. To avoid problems with filter extensions, PML cast filter supports into the bottom of the pan . This pan has three locations cast into the pan that can be machined for use with aftermarket sensors and gauges, one on the driver's side and two on the passenger's side. These locations can accommodate from 1/8 NPT to 1/2 NPT. Shift Cable Bracket You may have to modify your shift cable mounting bracket to use this pan if the transmission pan mounting bolts hold the shift cable bracket on.
