c1890 pattern glass small 7 1/2"h oil lamp sometimes attributed to King Glass Company of Pittsburg. This lamp is a variation of a lamp shown in Thuro vol.1, page 290 -- Inverted Thumbprint with Fan Base -- but this version has a plain font, no thumbprints. Another version of the lamp is shown in Edwards & Carwile, Opalescent Glass 5th ed, p.39, clear with a white opalescent coin spot font. Not sure, but the collar on this lamp may be a replacement. Possible damage underneath the collar, please see photos. Collar has approximate 7/8" screw-thread opening. Otherwise good condition, wavy-swirled font glass.
