This is a fine original Brass finish Oil Lamp Shade RING for a 10 inch Shade, circa 1890-1900s (#2) The shade ring will hold a 10 inch shade, and the burner opening is 2&9/16 inches inside diameter. This will fit an old burner and sits on the burner. Will hold the 10 inch diameter parchment or glass shade securely. Old original Brass plated patina finish, a magnet does stick to the ring.
