Putting up for sale this incredible original painting by fantasy legend Boris Vallejo. Medium is oil on artistboard and image size is approximately 22” x 26”. Handsomely framed under acrylic.
This image, titled “Shotput”, was for the month of March in Boris’ 1987 Fantasy Olympics calendar. The image was also used for #54 of the Boris Series 2: The Fantasy Continues collectible card series released by Comic Images in 1992. It wqs subsequently used for the Best of Boris All-Chromium Card series as image #79, published in 1994.
