For sale today is a wonderful ORIGINAL oil on canvas from the Oscar-winning director, Billy Wilder. The piece is simply signed "B Wilder," as was his custom when painting. The piece is undated and unnamed, but features a village in winter, with snow on the ground. The dress of the subjects would suggest somewhere in Asia. The canvas measure 20" wide x 24" high. The overall frame dimensions are 31" wide x 27" high. The canvas has a small 3" tear near the right edge that is 100% repairable. Other than that, the piece is perfect. And 100% original.
