Very nice antique oil on canvas of a woman posing with broach- very well painted. Painting is in rough condition and is under glass? not sure why maybe to protect it I guess The frame is ornate and looks to be original to the period painting This item is large and heavy and if requested can ship without the glass -The outside frame measures approx. 30-3/8 inches X 26-3/8 Inches and is about 4 inches deep- The stretcher measures approx. 16 X 20 inches- See pictures -Item is large and heavy
What's wrong with it? Painting is in rough condition shows signs of paint loose, crackling, tares in the canvas, and could use a good cleaning as well- the frame has minor nicks, chips, dents, and dings and needs a good cleaning as well.
