For auction is an antique nautical lantern etched with "Boat Signal" on the top front. The burner handle is marked Perko, so I am assuming that is the manufacturer of the lantern. It is made of brass but it is painted black. There is a spring-loaded screen that can be moved to make the light inside visible to others. The spring is quite strong and there is a reflector in the back of the lamp housing. The lens is clear and undamaged. It is 8 1/2" tall and 3 3/8" in diameter at the base. There is plenty of wick left and the adjustment knob works smoothly. (DRTC)
