The painting is an original, one-of-a-kind piece created using oil painting production technique, and is framed for display. The size of the painting is medium, with Dimensions of 17" x 20" for the Frame
; and the oil painting is 9 1/4" x 12 1/4".
The subject of the painting includes men, landscape, and rural life, and is done in a style that combines realism and impressionism. The painting has a Scottish culture influence and origin, specifically from the region of Scotland. The painting does not come with a certificate of authenticity, but it is sure to be a stunning addition to any art collection.
NOTE: It could be signed,
but I cannot see that right now. Might carefully take apart and see if I can locate a signature.
CONDITION: Overall in good condition. I believe it needs a cleaning & a bit of paint restoration; I'd love to see the true colors of this piece. I pointed out where there is paint loss near the man's face, and the whole gesso frame has split over time, and has cracks througout but not to the detriment of the piece. And, the one photo (in the right-hand corner), shows where there is Gesso loss.
