Antique early Old Master painting of villagers in a 17th or 18th Century style. This genre painting typical of the period features several villagers gathered around a card table while the woman folk watch and serve drinks. This particularly large Canvas has been badly damaged and partially restored, as part of the restoration it was laid down on a masonite panel.
