Antique Noera Embossed Large Script "ford" Oil

Antique original under hood oil can for early Model T Fords.  These were mounted usually on the firewall in a bracket under to hood.  This example is an early one that was made by NOERA MFG. CO. in Waterbury, Conn. with a patent date of April 4, 1908.  It has the large script "Ford" that measured about 1 3/4" across.  The can is in nice original condition with a small ding about an inch to the left of the script and a scratch in the finish on the back side that measures about 1/2".  The spout is exceptionally straight.  The can has evidence of original copper coating with age patina.  The diameter of the base is 3 1/4" and the can stands a total of 5" tall.  This example made by Noera is very difficult to find and would be a nice addition to your oil can collection or to show along with your Model T.
