Antique Miniature Milkglass "improved Banner" Oil

This antique miniature oil or kerosene milk glass stem lamp is listed in Smith's "Miniature Lamps" Book I as Figure 20. Its font is embossed "IMPROVED BANNER" and six five-point stars. It stands about 3" tall from base to top of the collar, 8 3/4" to top of the hurricane shade. It is in very good condition without chips or cracks. The thumbwheel is unmarked and seems that it would work fine with a wick.
