Here is a nice old brass student lamp, made by The Manhattan Brass Company in the 1800's.  It has been electrified more recently as you can see by the photos.  It works.  It measures 21" high and the shade has a 7" fitter size.  No damage that I can see to the outside of the lamp but the inner fuel tank is rusted out - see photo.  The green shade is vintage, not antique  and has a faded finish. Careful packaging.
