Antique ancient bronze large finial mask-lidded Roman oil lamp. From the area of ancient Carthage, acquired many years ago from an Algerian antiques trader who had a vast collection of ancient artifacts. No damage or repair. Some wear/scratches on foot base from handling. The patina is original. Exact age unknown. Probable range 100 BC - 200 AD . ~11-1/2" L x 5"H x 2-3/4" W. (1" = 25.4 mm).
