A beautiful blue glass antique ribbed optic oil lamp from the 1880s with applied blue glass finger handle...Hand blown in ribbed pattern mold with vertical ribs around the inside surface of the glass....round with footed base ring and hollow shoulder ring...sunken ring around top of shoulder....smooth base...sapphire blue.....3 1/4"tall to brass threaded collar....11"with burner & chimney....Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage. A nice clean lamp. Brass threaded collar and brass 1888 dated burner are both in excellent condition with no damage. Burner is in good working condition. Old glass chimney has no damage... ...
