Up for sale is a circa 1880's Miniature Milk Glass GWTW style Hand-painted Oil Lamp with Correct Original Shade. Please reference Smiths book 1 fig. 312 for a similar example with different paint. Base is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or other damages. Shade is also in excellent condition with only the expected very minimal and minor flea bites to the properly ground fitter rim and some small flat nicks and rough spots to the top rim. No other damages. Base and shade have the standard swirl/ straw lines and air bubble consistent with glass of this age. Stands appr. 8 in. tall to the top of the shade. Mini collar is solid with good threads. Solid burner in good working condition with a moving wick. Burner is marked made in USA.
