From Delaware Estate...Unknown artist American Folk Art painting of George Washington's Tomb at Mount Vernon in the manner of Prior or Gravilly. Painted in the early 19th Century about 1830's. Oil on Canvass stretched on board. Period style frame. Out side measures 21 1/4" x 27 1/4" with interior of 17 1/4" x 23 1/4". Paint is bright light crazing. There is slight chipping in center area and old repair in sky area. Note photos. No signature. Artist unknown. Any questions please email.
