Antique Cranberry Swirl Glass Hall Foyer Library Oil Lamp Pendant Light Fixture
Offered for your consideration is this Antique Cranberry Glass Swirl Bulbous Globe Hall Foyer Library Oil Lamp Pendant Light Fixture. The frame has the unique brass design with scrolls and foliate pierced elements & the lamp hangs from the three original pull-down chains that is reminiscent of Persian styling, c1890. The pull-down brass finial is a darling upside-down heart. This corresponds with the embossed hearts at the top canopy. Measures approx. 28'' down from ceiling (that could be adjusted by removing chain lengths as desired) the approx.. width & depth are 10''W x 10''D. The gorgeous cranberry shade is in excellent condition ( free from any damage) with fired polished lipped top & base and measures 7-1/4" high with an approx diameter of 7". Brass fixture is in good original unpolished patina condition. The small inside oil font is in fantastic useable condition & has a beaded top petite chimney. I do not think this is the original font but it fits in the base of the pull down perfectly & is completely useable with the wick raiser working correctly. This lamp can also be electrified if you prefer. We always like to leave our items in their original condition as the come into our possession, but no one’s desires are ever the same.
