Antique Skaters Lantern--Small Hurricane Lantern Late 1800's Skaters lanterns were used to light up the way (and the pond) for the popular Victorian winter pastime. The name also refers to small lanterns that were carried while walking or to bring light to the front entrance of a house. Measures 6" tall X 3" wide at base Lantern works as it should and is in VG+ to excellent condition for the year! One of the nicer one's I have seen!
