As far as I could research this, it appears to be a Antique American Miner coffee tea pot It has a curved spout and small strainer under lid. Manufactured by Gem Mfg Co of Pittsburgh Pa (stamped on bottom) Circa 1905-1920 All the similar items I saw detailed this as an Antique AMerican Miner Oil wick RR lantern lamp Also manufactured by Gem Mfg of Pittsburgh Removing the strainer and adding a wick and oil could possibly allow usage as a lantern The only difference I could see was the lantern had a straight spout. Size 5 1/2 inch height; from handle to spout 8 1/2 inch Item does show distress, rust and wear. It appears that bottom may have been soldered at some time. Hope this helps in your decision Wonderful collectable
