Nice ancient Roman or early Byzantine bronze oil lamp filler. Great decorative handle with footed base. The bowl is encrusted and the piece has obviously been dug. It formerly belonged to a restorer at a major NY museum. He purchased his collection from the 60’s-90’s. It displays nicely despite some condition issues.
