2- Uncle Bernie's Nursery Plaques. 1940's. Tom Tom & Mary Had A Little

From the 40's comes these great Nursery plaques from the Uncle Bernie, Inc. Company of New York city. Hand painted and hand made, the Uncle Bernie line included 15 different nursery rhyme cut-outs.  They are 3-D in that the figures are cut out of 1/4" wood and fastened to the wood background.  All of it is hand painted. As you can see in the pictures one is Mary Had a Little Lamb, other is Tom-Tom the Piper's Son. Mary and the lamb have nice colors and are walking down a hill.  Note the damage to the lower left. Tom is running fast with a pig.  This one is undamaged. Both could use a good cleaning. Both still have their "Uncle Bernie" stickers and hangers on the back.  They are 9" X 12"
