Antique 1800s Original Oil

Antique Oil Painting Expertly executed figural landscape piece. The painting shows a rural landscape. There is dirt pathway which is weaving down around a hill with a patch of trees in the center. Midway down the hill, just off the path, there is a couple. The woman is standing barefoot with a basket hanging from her right arm. Her companion is a man whom is lying on the ground a few feet away in a relaxed position with his head resting in his hand. To the lower left hand side of the painting, further down the dirt path can be seen a man lurking in the shadows of the trees, with a rifle resting upon his shoulder. He is on the other side of the hill from couple, and remains just out of their line of site.  Medium: Oil Surface: Board Estimated Age: Mid to Late 1800's Size of Artwork: 15.25" x 21.25" Approximate Framed Size: 19" x 25" The piece is artist signed in the lower right corner, however the signature is not legible ( please refer to photos ). Condition: I personally would say that the Painting is in Very Good condition for it's age. It does show normal signs of aging (scratches, light scuffs, light paint cracking in a few areas, etc..) all of which should be completely expected for a piece of this age. The frame is a nice antique piece (quite valuable in it's own right). It is in "old/used" condition, with natural wear, blemishes, scratches, cracks, nicks, chips, etc..
