19th C. Portrait Oil

FREE SHIPPING ANYWHERE IN THE CONTINENTAL US! This is an antique portrait of a beautiful young Victorian woman in a blue dress with a pink and white lace bonnet. Mid 19th century. American school. Oil on canvas. Unsigned. The painting itself measures 29 1/4" x 24 7/8" and is displayed in a gilt wood frame measuring 34 3/4" x 30 1/4" x 2 1/4" deep. Exquisite detail, obviously painted by a master portrait artist. Lovely period piece. Condition: The painting has been professionally restored.  Relined, stable craquelure, in-painting, varnished. Light buckling to canvas center right.  The frame shows some light chipping around the edges.  It is still an amazing example of fine American portraiture.  Presents very well. A solid example of Victorian era Americana.
