Rosehip oil reduces wrinkles and signs of premature aging.
Helps to counter the drying effects of the sun which are usually first noticed
in fine wrinkle lines or "crows feet" around the eyes and mouth.
Evens tone and smooths roughness. A natural moisturizer for dry, sensitive,
allergic, sun damaged, problem skin conditions and daily skin care. Improves
surgical and accidental scars, restores normal skin color (reduces redness or
hyper pigmentation). It also avoids the formation of the keloid type of scar (lump)
which may appear after surgical procedures and helps to make less apparent old
scars left by acne or chickenpox. Provides excellent results in the treatment
on burned skin or on skin that has been exposed to radiotherapy.
RoseHip Oil also has a high content of unsaturated essential
fatty acids, namely oleic (15-20%), linoleic (44-50%) and linolenic (30-35%).
They are called " essential " because our body is not able to
reproduce them, and because they help to nourish and maintain a healthy skin.
It is a superb tissue hydrator with a high absorbing level, penetrating dry
skin almost instantly to restore a much needed moisture balance frequently lost
by climatic and environmental conditions such as dryness and air toxicity.
Rosehip oil is an effective treatment for dry, weathered or
dehydrated skin. It softens and minimizes scars and is the predominant natural
oil used for treating wrinkles and aging. It can be used in all fine skin care
recipes, or applied directly to the skin on its own with great success for any
aging skin complaints. Considering the irritation direct application of
prescrip skin care to the skin can cause, (rosehip seed oil does not actually
turn into retinoic acid until after it is absorbed and your skin decides it
needs some and converts it) and the fact that being unpatented, it is cheaper.
There is more data on rose hips as an anti-inflammatory,
anti-oxidant, wound healing agent and in arthritis treatment. An interesting
effect I noticed with rosehip seed oil was its ability to shrink pores. I was
told nothing but microdermabrasion could do that, but I noticed prescrip skin
care did it and so does rosehip seed oil. The thing all three treatments have
in common is the ability to peel of the top surface of the skin so the skin is
forced to renew itself. Naturally that would appear to shrink pores
considerably. Certainly, I consider rosehip seed oil the treatment of choice
for enlarged pores Rose hips were brought to the New World by Spanish invaders
where they took root and thrived. Rose hip oil (also known as rosa mosqueta) is
a wine colored oil from the ripened fruit and seeds of the Rose Hip. It is
extremely high in essential fatty acids and now has much respect among professional
skin care journals and organizations. It has a high vitamin A and vitamin C
content and is a natural source of both which are known superior ingredients
for skin and wrinkle treatments for skin! It also contains high amounts of
essential fatty acids, and antioxidants such as lycopene which help form the
building blocks of healthy skin. Also I would like to add that Pure Organic Rosehip Oil does
have a kind of earthy sesame seed smell to it (for lack of a better
description). It is not a bad smell but I wanted to let you know that this is
100% Pure Virgin Organic Rosehip Oil and it does have it's own unique smell to
it. Out of necessity I have to add this to the listing now because some people
have not researched rosehip oil and think it might smell like vegetable oil or
rancid when in fact it has very earthy smell. Our rosehip oil is extremely
fresh! Shelf life is 24 months or longer. In my research I have read where it
is good up to 5 years stored correctly out of sun and heat. I want to add that
rosehip has a smell that can be strong sometimes or other times it is not.
Since it is organic it just depends on the batch the time of year it was
harvested, the kind of roses and so forth, but it does not smell like roses. I
have had some where it smells strong and other that has hardly any smell. But
it is a natural organic product so you will get variations like that in smell
and the color of the oil can vary too. Most rosehip oil has a scent or smell
since it is only 100% unrefined cold pressed organic rosehip oil and not
scented with chemicals or anything that will cover up the natural smell. It is
not a bad smell but it does have a distinct earthy smell. If one does not like
the smell add a drop or 2 or pure lavender essential oil (which I also have
listed for sale in my other listings), which is good for the skin and smells
wonderful. I have also read reviews that if you store in the refrigerator, it
reduces the smell and it will also keep longer. So, if you do not use every day
then you could store in the refrigerator. Some people love the smell just as it
is, while others do not. It is matter of personal preference like anything.
Ask users of topical Organic Rosehip oil why they are such
loyal fans and you a dozen different answers. One swears by it to treat eczema
and psoriasis while another uses in place of a night cream to smooth her
wrinkles. I have read in various magazines that Rosehip Oil is the best natural
"anti-ager". One customer uses it for her son's occasional diaper
rash and another has used it to sooth a sunburn and another has used it for
treating acne. It is a multi-tasker where it comes to skin care! It will help
to heal wounds, moisturize skin, treat rashes, sunburns and minimize scarring!
Because Rosehip Oil so effective at bringing skin into
balance, it's equally loved by those with severely dry skin as well as those
with raging oily skin and uneven skin tone and pigmentation. Instructions for Use: Massage 1 to 2 drops of our Rosehip oil into clean damp skin
or the affected area with your fingertips until it is completely absorbed. Do
not get in eyes. Note, Unrefined Rose Hip Oil, due to its high carotenoids
content, has the potential to show on skin and linens or washcloths if used too
much plain or in high percentages in a formulation. Take this into
consideration when using What I have found is if I use too much I can see this
thick concentrated Rosehip Oil on my skin so I use less usually 1 to 2 drops or
if using pump a small pump and rub in well and let it work it's goodness! Rose Hip Oil applied twice a day every day for about three
months reduces scar tissues, helps to prevent and reduce stretch marks,
attenuates wrinkles & age spots. Anti-inflammatory, improves burned skin.
Aids in the treatment of dermatitis that results from radiotherapy. Excellent
to prevent photo aging and immediately relieve dry skin and eczema. Rose Hip Oil can also be used on the hair and scalp for a
hot oil conditioning treatment. It will improve the health and texture of the
hair and help any scalp problems.
Our Organic Rosehip oil is extracted using the cold press
method. Cold Pressed is where heat is minimized throughout the rosehip seed oil
extraction. This helps the oil maintain its original state, constituents, and
depth. Although not a practical method of extraction for all oils on the market
it is highly regarded as the extraction method of choice.
In my research on Rosehip Oil in skin care I found this. It
was published in 1988. "Contributions to Identification and Application of
Active Components Contained in Rosa Aff. Rubiginosa." by Dr B Pareja, and
Dr Horst Kehl. "Aged Skin (Photo-ageing) Changes produced on skin by the
action of the sun, i.e. photoageing, are very common in all countries of warm
climate. For this study, 20 women with surface wrinkles, brown spots on the
eyelids and intensely tanned skin, aged between 25 and 35, who usually spend 3
months of summer in resorts by the beach, were assessed. All applied rose hip
oil on the face for four months. Significant changes were noted, starting
during the third week. Firstly, surface wrinkles started to disappear, spots
started to fade until, by the end of the last month, the disappearance was
almost complete."
You would think, seeing as the wrinkles and age spots almost completely disappeared, we would be hearing about this miraculous oil all the time! Perhaps when you can sell presrip skin care for twenty times the price they do not want the secret out! Truly this is an awesome oil! Take care of your skin with this!
