This is a description for 4, 3 Vortec oil Pan Bolts studs. These Bolts sit on the Pan and must be of a good quality to ensure lack of screw-in these Bolts are special order and will be different from the ones in your vehicle, we apologize for any inconvenience. These Bolts are for the oil Pan on your vehicle, they are 3" wide by 2" tall and at the top and bottom. They run from the left side of the oil Pan to the right side, the studs are then long, thin wires that go into a lockring on the end of the lock. The ring contains a small hole that you fit a washer into, the hole is big enough to suit a lock washer as well. When you put the washer in, the lock is tight and holds the Pan tight, you can then fit a new bolt and washer, and pop the lock washer in. The old bolt is gone and will have to be replaced, this is a photos of the Bolts used for the oil pan. The studs help to secure the Pan to the car and help to prevent it from moving.
